“In a person who is open to experience each stimulus is freely relayed through the nervous system, without being distorted by any process of defensiveness.”

How can Counselling help?

Sometimes life can be challenging and difficult. We can feel that we are alone with our problems and talking these issues through with a qualified counsellor can help. It can help to talk things through, it could be things happening at this moment or things that have happened to you in the past. Spending time with a qualified counsellor can help you get back on your feet again.

You maybe looking for counselling for many reasons. These can include:

  •    Relationship problems
  •    Family issues
  •    Anxiety, stress or panic attacks
  •    Work related stress including redundancy
  •    Depression
  •    Bereavement
  •     Victim of abuse, bullying or domestic violence

Talking to someone who is not a family member or a friend can give you the space and freedom to explore your situation fully in a confidential environment where you can be yourself and explore your feelings without judgement. You can talk about what has happened and express your thoughts and feelings about it with someone who will listen without judging, criticising or tell you what you should do. Together you can make sense of your situation and you can make the decisions you need to move forward.
